Raspberries originated in Southwestern China and were eventually cultivated and spread to various parts of the world. Before raspberries were domesticated and cultivated for their fruits, they were valued for their medicinal properties by indigenous communities. Records indicate that various parts of the raspberry plant, including the roots, leaves, stems, and fruits, were used in traditional medicine to treat a wide range of ailments.
As raspberries were domesticated, their value extended beyond medicinal use to topical applications. Extracted from the seeds of the raspberry fruit, Raspberry Seed Oil contains natural therapeutic and cosmetic compounds, including vitamin E and carotenoids.

This Wholesale Botanics red raspberry seed oil is a natural high quality, nutrient rich (high levels of Vitamin A + Vitamin E) oil, which is extracted from red raspberry seeds. i love using it for massage as a nourishing carrier oil with my myrrh essential oil. The instructions on the raspberry seed oil box (beautifully designed) recommend to use 1-5 drops of your favorite essential oil per 1 teaspoon of this carrier oil. i find that this raspberry seed oil absorbs well & gives deep hydration and that it calms irritated skin. it is supposed to be good for sensitive skin; i usually have sensitive skin & it works out well for me. You can do a skin test first by applying a small drop on your inner wrist and wait 24 hours to check if you have any allergic reaction before you fully use it.
