Aloe Vera Oil Fun Facts

Aloe Vera Oil has a long history of use in ancient civilizations, such as Egypt, Greece, and China, where it was highly regarded for its potential beautifying properties.

Aloe Vera was called the "Plant of Immortality" by the Egyptians due to its ability to thrive and bloom without soil.

The term "Aloe vera" originates from the Arabic word "Alloeh," signifying "shining bitter substance," combined with the Latin word "vera," which translates to "true."

What is Aloe Vera Oil?

Aloe Vera Oil is extracted from the leaves of the aloe vera plant, which flourishes in warm climates and is native to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

Historically, aloe vera extracts played a pivotal role – from tending to soldiers' wounds in ancient times to being revered in cultures like Greece, Egypt, and India. It served diverse purposes, including addressing skin issues and was also used as a natural laxative.

Today, Aloe Vera Oil is still a popular ingredient in many skincare products due to its moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties. It is commonly used for its potential to reduce skin redness, treat psoriasis and eczema, and increase skin hydration.

I wish I could afford to buy hundreds of gallons!

This is BY FAR the BEST brand of Aloe Vera Oil to use as a face oil (and body oil), hands down! I have used this oil alone and only added essential oils as a face serum, plus, infused with another oil and herbs for a face and body skin care oil. No breakouts with either oil (infused by heat and as a stand alone non-heated oil). It’s light and excellent mixed with your Turmeric Essential Oil making it slightly shimmery enough to wear as a natural alternative to makeup, too - makes my skin glow. Feels luxurious on the body, too, and super awesome to use right out of the shower without feeling the least bit greasy or heavy.

Thanks, Wholesale Botanics - so far, all of your products I’ve purchased are top tier and your sales staff is excellent! Sooooo happy to know you’re in this world doing good things and making excellent ‘clean and green’ products!
