Spikenard was commonly used in the past to uplift and strengthen the mind and body, and was the most effective aphrodisiac known to ancient cultures. These therapeutic effects are more potent than ever in its modern form, making Spikenard an excellent massage oil, though it's also effective when added to a diffuser. Its woodsy, spicy, musky odor appeals to many, though even those who find it a bit too powerful should enjoy it when mixed with sweet orange and cinnamon. Alternatively, a blend with vetiver and valerian will emphasize the helpful effects of spikenard oil.

I feel that the spikenard oil is a bit thin and not as potent as I had hoped The other two oils I ordered are fine.
