Neem Oil for Spider Mites

Rated 4.3 out of 5
Based on 3 reviews

Neem oil comes from the seeds of the Neem tree, which is native to India; it's been used for a wide range of applications for thousands of years and continues to be one of the best oils for spider mites. This is because spiders, mites, spider mites, and other insects tend to dislike the smell of Neem oil, so they won't want to gather near it.

Neem oil doesn't have the most elegant fragrance, but its garlic and sulfur aroma are great for keeping bugs off your plants, out of your home, and off your body. The best way to use Neem oil for spider mites is to spray plants and other parts of your home.

Undiluted

Neem oil is also available in an undiluted state. Before using undiluted Neem oil for spider mites, it's important to dilute it with water or carrier oils. If you plan on spraying Neem oil in your home to prevent spider mites from gathering, you'll want to combine four cups of water with about half a teaspoon of emulsifier (we recommend liquid dish soap) and one teaspoon of Neem oil.

How to Mix Neem Oil for Spider Mites

For plant care, mix 1–2 teaspoons of neem oil for spider mites with 1 teaspoon of mild liquid soap and 1 quart (4 cups) of warm water. Shake well before each use and spray directly onto leaves, top and underside, avoiding use during peak sunlight.

For skin use, dilute 1–2 drops of neem oil with a teaspoon of a carrier oil like jojoba or sweet almond oil. This creates a skin-friendly blend you can apply as part of your self-care routine; just be sure to patch test first and avoid sensitive areas.
