Clary sage oil contains linalyl acetate, which is found to encourage hair growth when it’s applied to the scalp. Clary sage oil also helps make your hair stronger, meaning that there will be less breakage during everyday activities like brushing.


A few drops of clary sage oil can be mixed with your conditioner, or with a tablespoon of carrier oil and applied to your scalp. If you’re using it daily, leave the mixture on for two minutes, but if you’re using it twice a week leave it on for ten. Clary sage oil has a fragrance that balances sweetness and herbaceousness, so it may be best to use a low-fragrance conditioner.
