How To Capture a Screenshot

Choose one of the following platforms and devices for screenshot instructions:

iPhone

Models with Face ID

Press the side button and volume Up button at the same time, then quickly release them.

Screenshot will be stored under Photos > Albums > Screenshots

Models with Touch ID and Side button

Press the side button and home button at the same time, then quickly release them.

Screenshot will be stored under Photos > Albums > Screenshots

Models with Touch ID and Top button

Press the top button and home button at the same time, then quickly release them.

Screenshot will be stored under Photos > Albums > Screenshots

iPad

Models that don't have a home button

Press the top and volume up button at the same time, then quickly release them.

Models that have a home button

Press top button and home button at the same time, then quickly release them.

Apple Mac

To take a screenshot on your Mac press and hold these keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.

Your screenshot will be saved as an image on your desktop.

Android

  1. Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time.
  2. If that doesn’t work, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds.
  3. If neither of these work, go to your phone manufacturer’s support site for help.

Windows 10

To take a Screenshot in Windows 10 press and hold the Windows and Print Screen keys together.

This will capture your full screen, and save the image to your Pictures > Screenshot folder.
