Rosemary Oil for Baths

Rated 4.7 out of 5
Based on 3 reviews

Rosemary oil has both anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties which make it a prime choice for adding into a bath. It can help to soothe muscle aches and pains, improve joint pain, and leave skin feeling rejuvenated.

To use rosemary oil in a bath, you should combine several drops of it with a small amount of carrier oil. Place this mixture into warm bath water and agitate it so that it disperses in the water. You can then soak and receive the benefits from the oil on your skin. We also recommend adding lavender or chamomile into your bath oil mixture, as this will promote the utmost relaxation and pain relief.

If you want a stronger solution, you can add several drops of rosemary oil directly to your bathwater. This will create a stronger scent and can be better for very sore or tired muscles.

Best end of day

I used to think that baths were a bit uncomfortable, I just sat there and... well, not much. Since I started using rosemary oil I can relax fully and now baths are actually pleasurable. Only thing I'd say bothers me a bit is that I end up smelling like rosemary even if I use shower gel afterwards, but that's not that bad because the smell is nice.

Pain relief

Taking hot baths with rosemary oil mixed in has been really good for my general well being as some aches and pains, especially on my legs and shoulders, are very close to being gone.

Academically beneficial

As an experiment I decided to add rosemary oil to a hot bath every other day for a month before an exam, and my performance increased substantially compared to before using it. It's science folks.
