Borage Oil for Skin

Rated 4.7 out of 5
Based on 3 reviews

Created from the seeds of the Borago officinalis plant, borage oil is known for its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, specifically in the form of gamma linoleic acid. This acid is a primary source for easing inflammation and can be especially nourishing when used in skin and hair care products.

You can use borage oil by diluting it in a carrier oil and massaging it directly into the skin, adding a few drops into lotions or creams, or by blending essential oils with borage oil and a carrier oil to create a fragranced skin-friendly blend.

Regular use of borage oil may encourage skin health while the hydrating nature of the oil may ease patches of dryness. Use borage oil on your skin once every few days, as tolerated.

Interesting smel!

I'm a huge fan of this brand's hair oils. This one has an interesting smell, similar to evening primrose oil.
